NeeDoh Dumpling is a dumpling-shaped squishy listed as NeeDoh by third-party sellers. Bao buns and pleated gyoza are the two shapes that turn up most, usually in cream, pink or pale yellow, and many carry a tiny printed face on the front. The official line has never had a dumpling in it, so the title is pure seller labeling.
Size and pack contents change from listing to listing. A single dumpling runs about 2 to 3 inches across and weighs almost nothing. Blind boxes are the other common format, with one hidden character out of a set of six or eight, and some sellers bundle four minis in a plastic steamer basket. Fill material is not consistent either: slow-rise foam and stretchy gel both ship under this name.
What ships is a molded bao or gyoza, slow-rise foam or soft gel, pleats and a little face on the front. What never shipped is an official version: Schylling has no dumpling in the line, and no food brand has licensed one. Sellers add the brand word so searchers find them.
If a dumpling is what you wanted, skipping it would be a shame. One dumpling costs about what one official cube costs and keeps its pleats through hard squeezing. The blind-box minis carry small parts; toddlers need the age line checked first.
Blind-box sets and singles sell differently. A single runs $8 to $18 on Amazon in any month of the year; boxed mini sets cost a little more. AliExpress cuts that in half, sometimes under $4 shipped, when the box can spend weeks in transit.
On eBay and Walmart the stock comes in short waves and returns under new titles. "Nee Doh dumpling" alone misses most of it; add "bao squishy" and "mochi dumpling squishy" to cover the rest.
Got this as one of many Christmas presents for my 10yo granddaughter. This was one of the least expensive items but it is the one gift she never put it down. She was fidgeting with it all day. I have gotten her other NeeDoh squeeze toys so it seems you can never have enough of these.

I got this for our preteen and she absolutely loved it!

My son does not like most sensory toys, but this one was perfect. No mess but all the fun.

The squishable-ness is 8.5/10. I prefer the nee-doh cube texture, but this one is pretty good. My son likes the detachable icing.

Needoh purchase for 16 year old. Loves the shape. Always so cute! These things never tear or rip like cheaper versions.

What is for my little brother for Christmas? He absolutely loved it. We ended up getting a pink one. You're able to remove the frosting which is really cool and it's two different fidgets at that point, but you don't have to. You can keep the frosting on the doughnut.

No. These are third-party squishies, and the NeeDoh name gets attached by the seller to catch searches.
No dumpling has appeared in the Nee Doh line, and none has been announced. The nearest official food shapes are Peace o' Cake and the Dohnut Holes pack.
Most people want a cute food squishy and use NeeDoh as shorthand for squishy toy in general. The search usually lands on bao buns and blind-box dumpling characters.
Yes. Amazon keeps them in stock all year at $8 to $18, and AliExpress runs about half that when a few weeks of waiting is fine.
They are, if you like a mold that holds its shape. A slow-rise bao takes three or four seconds to puff back out, which is a very different squeeze from a gel-filled cube.
Bao buns and pleated gyoza cover most of what sells. Soup dumplings in a bamboo steamer and round bun characters with printed faces fill in the rest.
Not often. Most dumplings use slow-rise foam under a rubbery skin, so they push in softly and take a few seconds to recover. Gel-filled Nee Doh toys snap back instantly.
Mello Mallo is the nearest match for a bao bun: rounded, pale and pillowy. Dohnut Holes covers the multi-piece food idea, and Gumdrop lands in the same small collectible size.
Check the age line on the listing before buying, and skip any seller who does not print one. Blind-box minis and detachable steamer props are worth a second look around toddlers.
Take the dumpling if the food shape is what pulls you in. Go official if the filling matters to you and you want the same squeeze out of every unit.
